Our Activity Schedule

We offer many fun care home activities for our residents. Our dedicated Activity Coordinator team works hard to plan activities everyone will enjoy, such as music, art, social events, and outings. In dedicated activity spaces at each of our homes, our Activity team schedules various engaging care home activities for residents to participate in regularly. Making life better with music

From wartime singers to the Tamworth Twangers (a local ukulele band), we often invite local musicians to come and play for residents. We find that music is a great way to engage residents and help them feel happier. They often enjoy joining in and singing along with familiar songs, especially those who are living with dementia.

Celebrating special occasions

From new Year’s Eve to Christmas Day, we love celebrating each special occasion with our residents. Whether it’s a meal, tea party or birthday; friends and family, members from our care team and the local community are welcome to come together and have a great time.

Creating extraordinary friendships

Children from local nurseries and schools come to visit our residents. They are encouraged to spend time together to learn more about each other with a variety of activities such as tabletop games, dancing and arts and crafts. Both the children and our residents benefit from these visits, and have formed some extraordinary friendships!

Pamper yourself

Why not book an appointment with one of our resident hairstylists, see the chiropodist or arrange for the visiting optician to visit you at an arranged time to suit.  

Getting out and about

Not only do we offer plenty of activities for our residents around the Home, but we also provide our residents with opportunities to take part in days trips to local attractions and more, The Home has its own transport, which is free of charge, so you can rest assured that your loved one is safe and comfortable during our excursions.
