A Glittering Evening at Our Strictly Show!
Yesterday evening, our community was treated to a FAB-U-LOUS Strictly show that left everyone in high spirits! The evening was filled with dazzling performances and the hard work of our wonderful participants really shone through.
Our esteemed panel of judges included residents Pat Cart and Josie Watson, along with Simon (Janet’s son-in-law), who embraced his role as Mr. Nasty, and Mel from the kitchen. The performances were varied and spectacular, involving both residents and staff in a true display of community spirit.
Highlights of the night included:
- Resident Gary dancing a beautiful Waltz with his partner Jayne.
- Michelle and her team’s lively rendition of the YMCA.
- Sarah and Tracey impressing everyone with their couples choice.
- Stacey and Dawn bringing the house down with some line dancing to the tune of Footloose.
- Diane and Lindsey captivating the audience with their performance to All That Jazz.
The competition was fierce and there was a tie at the top of the leaderboard. A dance-off ensued, with the audience clapping and shouting for their favourites. In the end, it was too close to call, and the glitter ball trophy was diplomatically shared between Gary and Jayne, and Diane and Lindsey.
The show was a tremendous success, packed with residents, staff, and families, all enjoying the fun and camaraderie. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and attended – it was a night to remember! 🕺💃
