Respite Care
Short Term Caring giving support to families
We know that caring for an older person can be rewarding yet tiring, worrying and stressful. Time off is vital for both of you.
People who are caring for an elderly relative or friend can call on us to provide respite care, on a planned, occasional or one-off basis.
Respite care gives support to families and allows carers to take a valuable break or holiday. It allows carers the time to recharge their batteries while offering their loved ones the reassurance of 24-hour care.
We also provide convalescent care to older people who could benefit from a short stay, perhaps after an operation or a fall.
At our homes in Tamworth and Nuneaton, we provide round-the-clock respite care in a safe, comfortable environment, whether it’s just for a few days or up to six weeks.
You may consider short stay care if:
- you’re planning a holiday and need care cover for your loved one while you’re away
- you fall ill and need additional support
- you’re considering a care home for your loved one and they would like a trial visit
We welcome enquiries directly from private individuals and families.
We are also delighted to take referrals from fellow health professionals including GPs, Social Workers and District Nurses who have patients living in the community.
We are happy to consider any individual need, whether it relates to personal preference, physical or mental frailty. Tell us about your care needs and we will be happy to discuss with you how we can help.
